Financial Aid and Assistance

The Colorado School of Trades participates in the PELL Grant and FFEL Loan Programs. In each of these programs, an award is given based upon the financial and family situation of the prospective student. There is no charge for the evaluation procedure.

If you are interested in receiving financial assistance, contact the Financial Aid Office at toll-free (800) 234-4594 or (303) 233-4697 ext 44, locally for details.

Financial aid is available to those who qualify. The majority of applicants at CST qualify for some financial assistance. We suggest that you take the time to ask the right questions and fill out the forms. It can't hurt!

Placement Assistance

Since many of our graduates start their own small business immediately upon graduation, our business class teaches the basics of starting and operating one's own business. We cover the decisions needed prior to the start of that process; how to determine how much money you will need for "down" money, how to approach banks and other investors, preparing the business plan, taxes, insurance, and the in's and out's of the daily business operation.

Also covered in the class is resume preparation (the school will assist with resume preparation and cover letters to potential employers), how to generate job leads, the interview process and the follow-up procedure.

Our website also allows our students to post to the JobBoard. The JobBoard is an up-to-date listing of our students' expertise and qualifications for potential clients and employers.
